Student leaders across higher institutions in Osun State have endorsed Governor Ademola Adeleke for a second term in office, declaring that his administration has outperformed the All Progressives Congress, APC’s 12-year record in less than three years.
At a gathering held inside the Banquet Hall of the Government House, leaders of the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, Osun Joint Campus Council, JCC, and the National Association of Osun State Students, NAOSS, gave the governor high marks for what they described as unprecedented development across sectors of the state.
Chairman of NANS JCC, Osun axis, Comrade Ayobami Solomon Abel, commended the Adeleke administration for its passionate dedication to state development, saying the positive impacts were visible everywhere.
Echoing this view, NAOSS National President, Comrade Adedibu Akinsumbo, noted that workers, farmers, artisans, and market associations had all endorsed the governor for another term, describing Adeleke’s governance style as exceptional and people-centered.
Responding, Governor Adeleke thanked the student leaders for their support and said the series of endorsements from across society had further motivated him to push for greater achievements.
“We hope failed opposition aspirants can see what Osun people are acknowledging,” Adeleke said. “People and God remain my support base. On behalf of my government, I thank workers, farmers, artisans, market leaders, students, and youths for recognizing our efforts.”
The Governor announced the approval of two coastal buses for NANS and NAOSS, a technical assessment of all internal campus roads, and urgent action on bursary payments.
He also pledged to strengthen the Office of Students’ Affairs under his administration, assuring that he would not take their support for granted.
