NEW YEAR: Let’s Jointly Fight Corruption, Evil in All Ramifications to a Stand-still – Akim Yusuf
Akim Yusuf, the Action Democratic Party Governorship candidate in Oyo State at the 2023 general election has tasked Nigerians on collective fight against corruption and evil in the new year.
Yusuf, in a statement titled MY NEW YEAR MESSAGE, personally signed by him and made available to newsmen in Ibadan, enjoined the people to unite and be resolute to combat destructive,unprogressive and disruptive habits and choices that have brought the country to its current state.
“Without gainsaying, we all passed through monumental hardship in 2023 and at some points, it almost looked like the world was coming to an end.”

We must be less selfish and jointly fight corruption and evil in all its ramifications to a stand-still if we and succeeding generations are to enjoy a peaceful, prosperous and progressive Nation.”
The Finance expert turned politician, expressed his heart wishes to the people of Oyo State for witnessing the breaking of the new year 2024, praying God for protection and prosperity for all and sundry
