POJ Hails President Tinubu’s Probe, Suspension of Minister, Betta Edu, Others

A frontline politician in Oyo State, Engr Popoola Olukayode Joshua popularly called POJ has commended President Bola Tinubu over his zero tolerance against corruption through the suspension of the Minister of Humanitarian, Social Welfare and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu and Presidential directives to probe into the activities of the ministry.

POJ who’s the 2023 Governorship Candidate in Oyo State on the platform of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), explained that President Tinubu has given Nigerians reason to once again renew their trust in his government and hope for a better Nigeria.

POJ in a release on Monday evening through his media office in Ibadan and made available to journalists stated that the proactive step taken by the President should be praised and encouraged.

He noted that Nigerians will trust the current government being led by President Tinubu, saying the international communities will also find a reason to give the federal government of Nigeria a dint of trust as he carries out his masses oriented programmes.

“The suspension of the Minister Betta Edu is a signal to to other public officers in the Nation to adjust their sit and govern the people well without and not getting carried away with their offices knowing fully well they can be asked questions.

This is indeed a clear and different part from what we used to have in previous government and one can only believed this will bring in sanity into the governance.”

POJ urged Nigerians to continue to support President Tinubu in his quest to ensure that the masses of the country have value for their votes.

He described the whole saga around the Humanitarian Ministry as unacceptable especially as it affects the vulnerable, the less privileged and the people at the grassroot who should also be entitled to dividends of democratic governance.
