Late Rev.Goodluck Akomoh Laid to Rest Amid Tributes

As the adage says death is a debt every mortal must pay , such was for the former Sectional Leader and District Secretary of the Assemblies of God Church in Ondo State, Late Reverend Goodluck Efeigho Akomoh who was laid to rest in his country home , Emevor, in Delta State.

Delivering a sermon on “Your Works Will Follow You,” the representative of Assemblies of God , Ondo District Superintendent, Reverend Emmanuel Eminowa said death is inevitable for all mankind.

According to the cleric , whatever a person does while alive will speak for him or her after death, urging Christians to live lives worthy of emulation.

Reverend Eminowa noted that Late Reverend Akomoh lived a life of humility and served God faithfully until his last breath, stressing the need for people to positively impact lives for eternal rewards.

He also advised Christians to prepare for eternity and called on those yet to give their lives to do so.

Giving their tributes, colleagues of the deceased, Reverend Obiahu Ibe, and Pastor Femi Akingbesote said Late Reverend Akomoh was a peaceful leader and mentor .

The younger brother of the deceased, Mr. Thompson Akomoh said his brother’s demise was a painful loss to the family while the first son , Mr. Goodness Goodluck described his father as a disciplined man of God, prayer warrior, and caring father whose absence had created a huge vacuum in the family.

Late Reverend Goodluck Efeigho Akomoh died at the age of sixty-two after a brief illness.

He is survived by his wife, Reverend Goodnews Akomoh, children, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, as well as many spiritual sons and daughters.
