JUST IN: Lone Accident Claims Five on Benin-Ore-Lagos Expressway
A lone accident has claimed the lives of five travellers in along Benin-Ore-Lagos Expressway on Saturday.
The Ondo State Police Spokesperson, Funmi Odunlami confirmed this to newsmen, saying some other passengers were also sustained varying degrees injuries in the accident.
She noted that the accident occurred at about 04:30pm, around Akinfosile area along Ore/Lagos express way, involving a Toyota Hiace Bus with Reg No FKG 405 FX from Akure enroute Lagos while on the way summersaulted and entered into the bush.
According to the PPRO, the Police moved injured victims to the nearest hospital ( Grace of God Hospital) while the dead had been deposited in the mortuary of the same hospital.
“Investigation is on going to unravel the cause of the accident while effort is on to contact the families of the passengers involved in the accident.
