Flood Submerges UI Hostel, Destroys students Properties
A flooding incident has wrecked havoc at the University of Ibadan (UI) destroying documents, books, foodstuffs and other valuable properties of the students.
It was gathered that the properties were destroyed by floods that submerged some hostels of the institution as Awo Hostel being the most affected hall of residence with about 16 rooms in the underground floor were completely submerged with students’ properties floating on the water.
According to the students their foodstuffs, documents and properties, especially those that went for exam were destroyed
