UNILORIN Expels Student for Extorting Parent of Missing Colleagues

The Management of the University of Ilorin has expelled a 100 Level student for allegedly demanding money from parent of his missing colleague as ransom.

According to the University’s Director of Corporate Affairs , Kunle Akogun, named the student Olanrewaju Abdulkabir Abdulkadri.

The expelled student, with matriculation number 22/52HL004 is from department of Information Technology and Faculty of the Communication and Information Sciences of the university.

The university also rusticated for one academic session, a 400 Level student of the department of Counsellor Education, faculty of Education , Segun Micheal Oyewole, for beating a fellow female student.
