As Muslims mark the 2025 Eid-el-Kabir, the president, Ogun State Solidarity Movement (OSM), Lekan Shobo Shobowale, has expressed heartwarm greetings to Muslims and called for prayers for Nigeria.
Shobowale, in a statement, urged residents and citizens of the state to make individual sacrifices for the betterment of our state and the nation for greater good of humanity.
He further urged Nigerians to pray for the less privileged among us and show them the love of God demonstrated through us, His creations.
It is significant that the Eid-el-Kabir and Jummat will be celebrated in one day. This tells us that all prayers offered during this solemn day will no doubt command double mercies of Allah towards us all.” he said.
Shobowale urged Nigerians to eschew all forms of recrimination and imbibe self-sacrifice, forgiveness, and other higher virtues that promote national unity and development.
