Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful across the state on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan 1447AH.
Governor Aiyedatiwa commended the Muslim Ummah for their devotion and sacrifice during Ramadan, noting that “the holy month has once again reminded us of the enduring values of faith, discipline, sacrifice and compassion.”
He urged the faithful to sustain these virtues beyond the fasting period, stressing that “the true essence of Ramadan lies not only in its observance, but in the continuity of its lessons in our daily lives.
While congratulating Muslims on witnessing another Eid, the Governor charged them to celebrate responsibly, remain watchful, and be mindful of their environment, in the interest of personal and public safety.
He further encouraged Muslim faithful to use the occasion to pray for the peace, stability and sustained progress of Ondo State and Nigeria.
