EID-EL-FITR: Adeleke Restates Commitment to Fairness in Governance

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has congratulated Muslim faithful in the state on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan,.

In a statement signed by the spokesperson for the Osun state governor Mr. Olawale Rasheed, governor Adeleke urged them to uphold the values of faith, unity and compassion.

He commended Muslims for their devotion and discipline during the fasting period, describing Ramadan as a time that embodies not only abstinence but also commitment to social justice, charity and community service.

Highlighting the significance of Ramadan, Adeleke urged Muslims to sustain the lessons of the holy month beyond the fasting period and continue to promote peace and social cohesion across communities.

Adeleke assured the Muslim community that his administration remains committed to protecting their rights, supporting religious institutions and ensuring fair inclusion in governance and development initiatives.

He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to people-centred governance, stressing ongoing efforts to improve welfare, infrastructure and economic opportunities for residents of the state.

The governor also called on the Muslim Ummah to use the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr to pray for peace and stability in Osun State, particularly at the grassroots level, while urging citizens to celebrate responsibly and extend support to the less privileged.
