CAC Family, Holds Wake for Evangelist Victoria Adegoke (PHOTO)

Members of Christ Apostolic Church, CAC have gathered at CAC Fountain of Mercy, Apata, Ibadan, Oyo State, to observe Christian wake for Evangelist Victoria Oyekemi Adegoke to bid her farewell on her final journey home.

The congregation including the husband to the deceased and the children, sang emotional hymns and read relevant portions in the bible while they reflect on the lifestyle, virtues and legacies of the late evangelist.

Evangelist Victoria Oyekemi Adegoke, aged 73, died on Christmas day evening after preaching to her congregation during the service.

She began her ministry in 1993 and served as an evangelist at three assemblies for about two decades including CAC Oke Ọlọrun Kiiseeti, Power House, Kajola before she co-planted CAC Fountain of Mercy, with her husband Pastor Aderemi Adegoke and the church which had expanded into three congregations at different locations in Ibadan.

In a sermon, Pastor Dr Michael Kayode Ehinmode, Superintended CAC Amuwo Odofin District, explained that people would be remembered for the problems they solved and their deeds on earth urging them to put their house in order saying they’ll surely die
