AAUA Ibadan Study Centre Matriculates 1200 New Students
Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba Akoko, Ibadan Study centre has matriculated one thousands two hundred students for 2024/2025 academic session
The students who were admitted to study both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of the institution sworn the oath of allegiance led by the Registrar of the university Mr. Olugbenga Arajolu
Addressing the new students, the AAUA Vice Chancellor, Professor Olugbenga Ige who led principal officers of the university to conduct the ceremony said the university was doing well in terms of quality of education and students would be exposed to the same quality of education offered at the main campus
“For us in the university, we believe in quality education and that’s what we offer, wether at our satellite campuses, wether as affiliate institution, or the main campus we treat them the same; same curriculum, same quality of personnel and the same quality of certificates.”
The VC assured the new students that the university would not abandon them in their academic sojourn, stressing that his office runs open-door policy that gives room for complaints and suggestions to move the system forward.
“Remember, you are not alone on this journey. The managements of AAUA and Mufutau Lanihun College of Education are committed to providing you with unlimited access to quality education and facilities to make your campus experience worthwhile.
“Challenges may arise, but be rest assured that there are mechanisms in place to address them. From departmental levels to the Vice Chancellor’s office, channels exist for seeking assistance and support. Feel free to reach out through the

The VC advised the matriculants to shun cultism, indecent dressing, examination malpractices, prostitution and other social vices, saying any student found culpable would be dealt with in commensurate sanctions.
“Uphold the values of integrity, respect, and ethical conduct throughout your academic journey. Character development and moral values are highly esteemed in this university. Let these principles guide your actions both on and off campus, fostering inclusivity, diversity, and unity among your peers.”
“While pursuing your studies, guard your admission and studentship jealously. Avoid all forms of vices, including examination misconduct, cultism, rape, indecent dressing, and sexual harassment. Such behaviours are forbidden and will not be condoned. Severe actions will be taken against offenders without fear or favour. Additionally, ensure timely payment of tuition fees and completion of registration procedures.”
He enjoined them to embrace interdisciplinary collaboration to fashion out solutions to Nigeria’s socio-economic challenges

In an interview, Provost, Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba Akoko, Ibadan Study Centre, Professor Abiodun Gbolagade assured that the quality of education would not be compromised in the centre, saying it’s an effort to compliment government efforts in promoting higher education in the state.
“The purpose of bringing this institution here is just to help Governor Seyi Makinde in terms of promoting educational and economic development of the state.”
