The All Progressives Congress, APC, Support Group Council (APC-SGC) South West has vowed to deliver 100 percent votes in the forth coming 2027 Presidential election in all the South West states as the group commenced massive mobilisation of youths ahead 2027 general poll.
Hon. Adewale Adeogun, the Deputy Director-General, APC-SGC South West gave the hints at the zonal edition of the Renewed Hope Unity Cup Football Competition for Primary Schools in Nigeria ( South West) on Wednesday held at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) , Iyaganku, Ibadan .
Adeogun , who also inaugurated South West Coordinators of the Council, described the 2027 election as a walk over for President Bola Tinubu and the APC .
Addressing a press conference at the event , the Deputy Director-General, APC-SGC South West , said the Council would ensure massive mobilization through strategic engagement with the people of the Southwest, while showcasing the various achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his genuine intentions towards pulling the country out of economic crisis.
He described the administration of President Bola Tinubu as the best to happen to Nigeria, for addressing infrastructural decay, insecurity, and driving progress and development.
” It is our belief that these efforts are anchored on the programmes and policies of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration. We believe that to whom much is given, much is expected, ” Adeogun stated.
Speaking on the introduction of the National Primary Schools Football Tournament, Adeogun emphasized that the football competition was designed to discover young talents, promote unity among pupils across the Nation and mobilizations of Parents and Teachers across the length and breadth of the Zone in particular and the Nation at large.
He noted that the empowerment programmes for women, youths, and artisans including skill training, micro-grants, and business support tools, was part of the strategy to achieve the set objectives of the group , including continuous Voter Education and Issue-based Campaigns.
He said ” Since 2022, our structures have been at the forefront of sensitization, voter education, and mobilization for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR and for all APC candidates at Federal, State, and Local Government levels.
Beyond electioneering, APC-SGC South West has also invested directly in our communities.
“We are also using this medium to commend the APC National Leadership for the formation of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), and hoping for better collaboration and partnership with them (PCC) as partners in progress.
” While also appreciating the APC-led governments at Federal, State, and LGA levels for the visible achievements in infrastructure, social involvement, economic reforms, and youth development.
” As critical stakeholders who contributed immensely to these victories, we respectfully call on the party (APC) and government at all levels to accord the South West APC Support Groups Council due recognition and better political patronage. Specifically we appeal for: Support and Collaborations for our Empowerment programmes, to enable us sustain our grassroots supporters.
” We in the Southwest APC Support Groups Council will collaborate very closely with the Presidential Campaign Council as constituted towards mobilizing support for H.E. President and other APC candidates across the Southwestern Zone.”
