The family of a poultry farmer abducted last Thursday evening and residents of their community are now in joyous mood following his release by his abductors late last night.
The farmer, Mr.Oluwaseyi Oladimeji who is also said to be a civil servant was reportedly abducted along with his wife and child at his Awe farm by suspevted kidnappers .
According to the state operation officer of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria VGN, Oyo state command Mr. Kola Olaoye, the suspects risk definite arrest considering the ransom they collected such as recharge cards apart from milk, cigarets and two point five million naira cash.
The kidnappers earlier requested for fifty million naira.
Mr. Olaoye also said vigilantes in collaboration with other security agencies are agencies are now trailing the suspects after the family refused efforts to foil ransom payment.
Mr. Olaoye added that the family feared that any operation to nab the kidnappers while paying the ransom could put the life of the victim to danger.
Meanwhile, the fear of prowling kidnappers remain evidcent among residents of the local government area.
