The 2025 Glorious Month Convention of Christ Followers Evangelical Ministry (CFEM), New Glory, Ilugusi Estate, Ibadan, recorded a high point on Wednesday as fast-rising gospel minister, Tobiloba Frances Olateju, popularly known as “Tobi Special”, thrilled worshippers with a soul-lifting performance.
Tobi Special, a talented singer with cerebral palsy with a unique passion for worship, electrified the congregation with his spirit-filled ministrations on the 10th day of the month-long programme. His delivery, which combined deep lyrics and heartfelt worship, was described by participants as inspiring and uplifting.
The convention, which began on September 1 and is scheduled to run until October 1, has continued to draw ministers of the gospel and worshippers from different parts of the country. Each session features a blend of prayers, revival services and vigils in line with the central theme of the programme, “Divine Restoration.”
Renowned cleric, Prophet Olufemi Oni, also ministered at the service, leading the congregation in an intense prayer session laced with exhortations and scriptural references. He testified to what he called the genuine anointing upon the founder of the ministry, Prophetess Esther Oluwakemi Adebayo Adonai, JP.
According to Prophet Oni, CFEM has witnessed a remarkable transformation, evolving from a modest beginning into what he described as a thriving cathedral, a growth he attributed solely to the power of God. “This can only be God,” he declared during his ministration.
He further reminded members and workers of the church that God remained the strong pillar of the ministry, urging them to prepare for personal transformation through faithful service in the house of God. His message reinforced the central focus of the convention on spiritual renewal and restoration.
Another guest minister, Prophet Samuel Jesuyinka, took the stage in a separate session where he declared prophetic blessings over the worshippers.
He pronounced breakthroughs and successes into the lives of participants, assuring them that God’s promises would manifest in their families and personal endeavors.
The ongoing convention continues to attract large attendance, with expectations of more impactful sessions in the days ahead. Worshippers expressed optimism that the programme would leave lasting spiritual benefits, both for the church and individuals in pursuit of divine restoration.
