President Tinubu appoints 400-level UI student as member of presidential tax reforms committee

President Bola Ahmed TInubu has appointed Orire Agbaje, a 400-level Economics student of the University of Ibadan (UI) as a member of the presidential committee on fiscal policy and tax reforms.

This was announced by the Special Assistant to the President on social media, Olusegun, on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.

The post reads: “Tinubu met Miss Orire Agbaje, a 400 level Economics student of the University of Ibadan who is the President of the Nigerian Universities Tax Club and a member of the just inaugurated Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms”.

The committee is chaired by former Fiscal Policy Partner and Africa Tax Leader at Price Waterhouse Coopers, Mr Taiwo Oyedele.

The committee which has experts from both the private and public sectors as members was inaugurated today at the Presidential Villa.
