Patients Scamper for Safety as Fire Guts UNIOSUNTH Emergency Unit
There was panic at the Osun State University Teaching Hospital, UNIOSUNTH Thursday morning as fire reportedly broke out at the new Accident and Emergency Unit of the Hospital.
The cause of the fire could not be ascertained at the time of filling this report.
According to a source at the Hospital , patients were running out of the unit to avoid being caught in the fire.
The source said, “I can confirm to you that there is a fire outbreak at the new Accident and Emergency unit of UNIOSUNTH this morning.
We don’t know how the fire started but suddenly, we saw patients being moved out of the emergency ward by their family members for safety.
