Pastor Ashimolowo Mobilises Ministers for CCRW Ibadan Crusade Outreach
General Overseer, Kingsway International Christian Centre, KICC , Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo has mobilised Christian bodies for the upcoming crusade outreach of his ministry, Christ Compassion to the Rural World, CCRW scheduled to hold in Ibadan
The crusade, which had secured the approval to hold at the main bowl of Obafemi Awolowo stadium, Liberty, Ibadan will take place between 25th and 30th November this year.
The 72 year old Pastor Ashimolowo, who is also the president of the CCRW, hinted the ministers of his vision to win one million souls for Christ for the remain days of his life.
He explained that CCRW worked with the mission to heal the hurting world with the love of God and compassion, Lead one million souls to God, Bring free health care through provision of medical services and immediate surgical procedures to the people
The clergyman relayed testimonies and impacts of the maiden crusade outreach held at Ikorodu, Igbogbo and Maryland in Lagos state, where people benefitted from free medical treatments and surgeries, food stuffs, wears, school materials and spiritual ministration, adding that such would be replicated in Ibadan in double folds.
“As a person born on this land, I know we have to touch the lives of the people spirit soul and body, that’s why we are coming to Ibadan. We are doing it not because we have money to waste, we are doing it because of the love of Christ, we are persuaded to touch lives, we want people to see Jesus.”
“We are going to distribute about 150,000 packs of Rice, 150,000 packs of Garri, 150,000 packs of Beans, 20,000 bottles of oil , 70,000 pieces of wears and lots more, we are going to dispense drugs worth 400million naira, carry out free surgeries.”
Chairman, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, Oyo State, Rev’d Samson Ajetomobi, who said the crusade was unprecedented in the city called on Christian bodies to support the move so as to make the programme impactful.
The Minister’s meeting, held at auditorium of Men of Issachar Mission, Olororo, Ibadan, had in attendance, frontline clergymen in Ibadan, including Bishop Taiwo Adelakun of Victory International Church, Apostle Sunday Popoola of Word Communication Ministry, WOCOM, Oyo State Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, Apostle Joshua Akinyemiju.
