Oyebanji Gives Account of Stewardship at Second Anniversary, Reaffirms Commitment to Service
Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebani, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to fulfilling the social contract with the people of the state through the implementation of robust socio-economic policies and programmes.
The Governor stated this in Ado Ekiti, while giving accounts of his stewardship during his annual “State of the State Address” delivered at the State House of Assembly to mark his second anniversary in office.
He maintained that a productive economy in line with his vision of shared prosperity, ensuring food abundance, investment in critical areas in partnership with the private sector, attracting new investors, and improved security and health services will be the focus of the government in the remaining years.
Mr Oyebanji equally enumerated achievements of his government so far to include Education transformation, health and human services improvement, youth development, agriculture and Rural Development, revitalisation and creation of business initiatives, infrastructural growth and Industrialisation among others.
The Governor, who appreciated his supporting teams for their support, said his agenda was driven by a passionate desire to bring prosperity to Ekiti people in the quickest time possible, saying all machinery will be set in motion to achieve the visions of the state’s founding fathers.
