OSUN NSCDC Decorates Newly Promoted Officers
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Osun State Command has decorated 746 newly promoted officers.
Decorating the newly promoted officers at the state command’s headquarters in Osogbo, the state Commandant, Mr Sunday Agboola described the promotion as an award of excellence, dedication, hard work, loyalty and discipline.
Mr Agboola urged the newly promoted officers to justify the promotion by imbibing the spirit of selflessness in the discharge of their duties.
He also advised them to increase their efforts in combating crimes and to make Osun state safer for the general public.
The Osun NSCDC also lauded the Minister of Interior, Doctor Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and the Commandant General, Doctor Ahmed Abubakar Audi for approving the promotion of 21, 385 for NSCDC.
Speaking on behalf of the newly decorated officers, Deputy Commandant of Corps, Olukemi Keshinro promised that the promotion would spur them to do more for the nation, in order to justify their elevations to the next ranks.
The decoration ceremony was well attended by service commanders across Osun State, family members of the promoted officers and well-wishers.
