Nollywood actor Abdul Salam Taofeek Salami also known as Tioruju has shared a deeply emotional account of betrayal and heartbreak after discovering that not all the children he believed were his actually belong to him.
According to his statement, the shocking revelation came when his wife confessed that out of their five children, only three were biologically his. The disclosure left him devastated, as he described it as “the saddest day” of his life.
The situation took a more troubling turn when he returned from a trip and found his wife missing from their home. At the time, she was heavily pregnant, raising further concern about her whereabouts. Determined to find answers, he went to her family residence.
Upon arrival, he encountered his mother-in-law and noticed photographs of his wife displayed alongside another man, which added to his confusion and distress. A confrontation soon followed, during which tensions escalated into a heated argument.
During the exchange, his wife reportedly admitted that the child she was carrying did not belong to him. She further revealed that their third child was also not biologically his—despite him having named and raised the children as his own.
The man recounted breaking down in tears upon hearing the truth, stating that the emotional impact has lingered and that he has not fully recovered from the experience.
The story has since sparked conversations about trust, paternity, and the emotional consequences of such revelations within families.
