The Ondo State Government, in partnership with health organizations and stakeholders, is set to roll out the third phase of the #TheBigCatchUp immunization campaign, scheduled to run from April 11 to 16, 2025.
This vital campaign is part of ongoing efforts to close immunity gaps that were widened by disruptions during the COVID-19 pandemic. It targets children under five years old (0–59 months) who missed routine vaccinations, as well as girls aged 9 to 14 years for the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine.
Throughout the campaign, trained healthcare workers will be deployed across communities and Primary Health Care (PHC) facilities to administer vaccines and ensure no child is left behind.
Parents and caregivers are strongly encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to protect their children from vaccine-preventable diseases. By participating in this campaign, they contribute to strengthening community immunity and safeguarding public health.
