Ondo NUJ Chairman, Adegbite Welcomes Viral 98.5 FM

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Ondo State Council has received the management staff of a new Radio Station in Ondo State, Viral 98.5 FM, Akure, encouraging them to add values to the narratives of broadcasting media in the state.

Ondo State NUJ Chairman, Prince Leke Adegbite gave the admonition as Viral FM team played homage to the journalists’ body in the state at the NUJ Press Center, Akure.

The NUJ chairman eulogized Viral FM’s choice of personnel paraded by the station, which portrayed professionalism but saluted the team over the familiarization visit.

Prince Adegbite advised the station to be fair and uphold the ethics of the professionin dealing with issues and to also shun sentiment in the state as he expressed NUJ’s readiness to assist the organization when the need arises.

Earlier, the General Manager of Viral FM, Remi Olagokun, a veteran broadcast journalist, sought the cooperation of the Nigeria Union of Journalists for the station to excel.

Also, the station’s Marketing Manager, Sola Obanla appreciated the NUJ for the hand of fellowship to Viral FM.
