A statement by the family indicates that Madam Adesote passed on in the early hours of Sunday, May 25, 2025
“The family of Bamidele Adesote of Odode Idanre, Ondo state has announced the passing away of their matriarch, Madam Grace Adesote.”
Madam Adesote is the mother of Mrs Sayo-Yemi Olowolabi, wife of former Ondo state Commissioner for Information, Hon Yemi Olowolabi.
The statement notes that the Madam Adesote was a devout christian, who until her demise, the Iya Ijo of Wesley Methodist Church, Utaja Road, Idanre.
She is survived by many children and grandchildren.
