Oluwo Appoints, Turbans Otun Imam of Iwoland
The Paramount Ruler of Iwoland, His Imperial Majesty Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has turbaned Muhammed-Thanni AbdulMuhmin Adedeji as the new Otun Imam of Iwoland.
Adedeji’s appointment was unanimously approved in line with the constitution.
Oba Akanbi described Adedeji’s appointment as divine and one without constitutional controversy.
“The appointment of Muhammed-Thanni AbdulMuhmin Adedeji as the Otun Imam of Iwoland is divined. His announcement and subsequent turbaning today followed due process after approval and endorsement by Oluwo. It was a collective decision with utmost fear of God and respect to the guiding constitution of the Mosque”
I got on this throne as Oluwo on fairness. I’ve been guided by the same principle of fairness in approving any appointment since my enthronement. The same fairness produced Muhammed-Thanni AbdulMuhmin Adedeji as the Otun Imam today”
“I urge the Central Mosque in Council to cooperate with him, tolerate one another and let the fear of God be foremost. Be united to serve God with open mind”
Muhammed-Thanni AbdulMuhmin Adedeji would replace the immediate past Otun Imam, Sheik Muhammad Ashim Ejalonibu died few weeks ago.
