BREAKING: Plane with 10 Passengers Crashes in Ibadan Airport

A private jet, with ten persons onboard, including Very Important Personalities (VIPs) has crash-landed in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

According to reports, the craft crash landed today ,Friday around 11 am at the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport.

The jet with registration number, N580KR, missed the runway into the nearby bush.

A witness who does not want his name mentioned said the accident was as a result of a farmer trying to burn some grasses.

The smoke erupting from the act was said to have affected the smooth landing of the craft.

Meanwhile, firefighters and rescue officials from the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) were immediately deployed to the scene.

However, there was no death or casualty recorded

Recall that, in November, the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, escaped death when a plane he was on board crash-landed at the same airport
