NSCDC Deploys Personnel to Guard Correctional Centres
The Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Osun State Command, Doctor Michael Adaralewa has reiterated the readiness of the command, to deploy personnel to join Nigeria Corrections Armed Squad to guard custodial centres in Osun State.
Doctor Adaralewa gave the assurance during a courtesy visit to the Controller of Nigeria Correctional Service in Osun state, Tolu Ogunsakin.
The Osun NSCDC Boss who explained that the NSCDC is saddled with the responsibility of protecting critical National Asset and infrastructure assured that the Command will support Nigeria Correctional Service in order to checkmate incidences of Jailbreak across the Nation.
‘’NSCDC is saddled with the responsibility of protecting critical national asset and infrastructure and am assuring you that the command is ready to support Nigeria Correctional service to checkmate Jail break in the country’’ Osun NSCDC said’
He also stated further that the two agencies under the same ministry should complement each other to achieve same goal of protection of lives and property while soliciting unwavering support to put an end to security challenges facing the country.
In his responds, the Controller of Corrections in the state, Tolu Ogunsakin appreciated the new NSCDC Commandant for the visit, emphasizing that both agencies are sisters.
Ogunsakin also expressed his readiness to work closely with the corps to improve security architecture in the state.
