NSCDC Boss Visits Ondo, Bolsters Security Partnership with State Govt

The Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR, has continued his operational tour of the South-West region with a strategic visit to Akure, the Ondo State capital.

During a meeting with the Executive Governor at the Government House, Professor Audi reaffirmed the Corps’ readiness to strengthen its partnership with the State Government, other security agencies, and the citizenry to ensure improved public safety and effective protection of critical national assets and infrastructure.

Professor Audi emphasized that robust collaboration among security stakeholders remains essential to tackling emerging threats and sustaining peace and development across the state.

The Commandant General further assured that the NSCDC will continue to discharge its mandates with the highest sense of professionalism, integrity, and dedication.

Responding, the Executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, welcomed the visit as timely and crucial to advancing collective security goals.

He commended the NSCDC for its consistent visibility and synergy with other agencies in safeguarding lives and sensitive installations across the state.

The Governor pledged the full support of his administration to the Corps in the discharge of its duties.

The visit forms part of the Commandant General’s ongoing efforts to assess field operations, boost personnel morale, and deepen security interventions across the region.
