Nobody is Comfortable in Nigeria, Hardship is Everywhere – POJ
A frontline politician in Oyo state , Engr. Popoola Olukayode Joshua, popularly known as POJ, has decried the level of hardship nigerians are facing especially during the build up to Christmas and new year celebrations.
POJ who said everyone in the nation were touched by the biting economic situation said those in government too are experiencing hard times , noting that no one is spared.
In his Christmas message, the New Nigeria Peoples Party governship candidate in 2023 general election in Oyo State, urged Nigerians not to lose hope saying, just as the nation had survived previous challenges, this hard time would soon fade off.
This 2023, Nigeria went through a lot in terms of election. There were predictions that the nation would break, but we survived that and we were able to select our leaders. I crave the indulgence of Nigerians to bear with the government, we all know that there’s hardship everywhere ,even those that are in government are still not comfortable . We believe that things would turn around for better”
He advised president Bola Tinubu to focus on creation of jobs for the youths so as to rejuvenate the hailing economy and turn around the hardship currently being faced by the people.
Let there be job for the Youths, with that, things will get better, when there’s job, there’s light, the economy will pick . If a young man has job to do, he’ll not have the mind to do bad thing or commit crime. If a tailor has light to do his or her work, the economy will pick”.
Poopola predicted greater reduction of insurgency and insecurity across the country, calling on the government to focus more on deliverying their campaign promises in 2024.
