New Year: L&K Felicitates With Constituents
The member representing Ayedire/Iwo/Ola-Oluwa Federal Constituency of Osun in the House of Representatives, Hon. Mudashiru Lukman (L&K) has felicitated with his constituents over the successful completion of the year 2023.
L&K, who stated this in a New Year message, called on the people of Iwo, Ayedire, and Ola-Oluwa Local Government Areas to go into 2024 full of hope and optimism for better days ahead.
He stressed that 2023 had gone with its plethora of challenges and unsettling uncertainties.
According to him, 2023 would be mostly remembered for the economic hardship that characterized it, he then called on the constituents and Nigerians at large to remain hopeful that the government at the centre and the House of Representatives are working round the clock in making laws that will ease the sufferings of the citizens.
The lawmaker also promised to continue to provide good representation to give more robust and quality representation as well as attract what is due for the federal constituency to it.
While acknowledging the support of the people of the federal constituency, Hon. Lukman assures them of the actualization of bills presented in their various stages into becoming law and assented to by Mr. President, he noted that more Bills, motions to give Ayedire, Iwo, and Ola-Oluwa LGAs improved development and upliftment will be adequately sponsored and moved at the Green Chamber.
The lawmaker also posited that he has put the policy in place to look into the needs of the people and has collated the data, adding that as a grassroots politician, he’s with the people and shall pursue vigorously their needs and challenges as usual sustaining it going forward in 2024.
He promised to intensify his efforts in his quest to mobilize contractors back to the site for the long-abandoned Gbongan-Iwo-Oyo Road.
According to him, in his 6 months in office, he has sponsored Bills for the establishment of the Federal University of Agriculture in Bode-Osi, Ola-Oluwa Local Government, establishment of the Federal College of Fisheries and Aquaculture in Oluponna, Ayedire Local Government among many other Bills he has sponsored.
You gave me a mandate to represent you in 2023 that I’m utilizing in making sure I give you the best possibilities from the National Assembly, please extend and continue that support in 2024 so that you get more for I’m ready for us to always continue in the mandate and our harmonious political family relationship and friendship, welcome to 2024” Lukman stressed.
