LG Poll: APC Loses Members to PDP in Ibarapa Central
A large member of the All Progressive Congress, APC have defected to People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibarapa Central Local Government of Oyo State.
The defectors in two different groups were received by PDP chairmanship candidate, Mr Sola Adeleke and leaders in the council area
The defectors led by two prominent APC members, Mrs. Mariam Okeleye and Mr. Muraina Tajudeen, hinged their defection on desire for good leadership as well as commitment to the needs of the public.
They affirmed their allegiance to the PDP, pledging their support for Adeleke in the upcoming elections.
This development underscored the growing support for the PDP in Ibarapa and Oyo state, signaling a shift in political dynamics as the region prepare for the upcoming local government elections.
