Popular gospel singer, Kehinde Adegbodu has recounted the final moments leading to the sudden death of his twin brother, Taiwo Adegbodu, describing how the incident unfolded late at night.
In an emotional account, Kehinde said Taiwo had come to his residence around 11 p.m., complaining of chest pain and requesting that they visit the hospital.
He explained that despite concerns from Taiwo’s wife, who had offered to accompany them, the deceased insisted it was unnecessary, assuring her they would return shortly.
Kehinde added that they engaged in light conversation on their way to the hospital, with no indication that the situation would take a tragic turn.
According to him, “Taiwo even informed the estate security personnel not to lock the gate, expressing confidence that their hospital visit would be brief.”
Upon arrival, Taiwo reportedly stepped out of the vehicle and walked into the hospital while Kehinde was still parking.
Kehinde said his brother sat at the reception and informed the doctor on duty about the chest pain, prompting medical staff to prepare for preliminary checks.
However, while seated, Taiwo suddenly leaned back as though he had fallen asleep, a development that did not initially raise alarm.
He noted that moments later, the situation escalated when the doctor began calling out to Taiwo and attempting to revive him, only to discover that he had passed away.
The incident has since left family members and associates in shock, as they grapple with the unexpected loss.
