It was an atmosphere of joyful celebration and heartfelt thanksgiving at The Anointed International C&S Gospel Church (Oke Igbala Irapada Okan), popularly known as Akoko Alaafia, as ministers, members, and well-wishers gathered to mark the church’s 2025 annual anniversary.
The event, held at the church’s cathedral located on Kalejaiye Avenue, Oke Itunu, Mokola, Ibadan, drew a large congregation who came together to glorify God for His faithfulness, the growth of the ministry, and the impact of its various branches.
The celebration was filled with vibrant worship as different groups and church associations took turns at the altar, dancing and singing praises in a collective expression of gratitude to God.
Leading the thanksgiving service was the General Overseer, His Eminence Elder Apostle Joseph Ojeleke, who delivered a powerful sermon on the anniversary theme, “Let Your Light Shine” taken from Matthew 5:16. He charged the congregation to live as children of light, exemplifying righteousness and integrity wherever they find themselves.
“Let your life reflect the glory of God,” Apostle Ojeleke said. “Do not allow sin or unrighteousness to dim your light in a world that desperately needs God’s truth and love.”
The atmosphere was electric with spiritual fervor, joyful dancing, and communal unity, reflecting the strong bond among the members and the leadership of the church.
Speaking during the service, Pastor (Mrs) Oluseyi Salami expressed her overwhelming joy and gratitude to God for the opportunity to witness yet another anniversary in good health and abundant blessings.
“It is always a privilege to be part of what God is doing in this ministry. We return all glory to Him,” she said.
The event concluded with a special thanksgiving offering, prayers, and prophetic blessings, leaving everyone in attendance spiritually uplifted and looking forward to greater things in the future.
