JONAPWD Mobilises Candidates for JAMB Free Registration Offer to Disabled Persons
The National President, Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities in Nigeria, Alhaji Abdullahi Aliyu -Usman has called on parents to mobilise their children with disabilities for free JAMB registration declared by the board
Alhaji who commended the JAMB initiativeas said the offer would serve as support in the academics pursuits of persons with disabilities in their quest for Higher education.
He enjoined prospective candidates who are with disabilities to take the advantage of the free registration so as not to be left behind.
Alhaji Aliyu -Usman however solicited for more inclusion of persons with disabilities in decision making in the country and support for children with disabilities.
He urged the JAMB to provide disability friendly examination materials to enhance smooth conduct of the UTME for prospective disabled students.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board had on Monday, announced that the registration for Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination 2024 would be to free of charge for disabled individuals who wish to register.
