JAMB Reschedules UTME for 24,535 Candidates
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, says it has rescheduled its 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, for 24,535 candidates.
The board said JAMB rescheduled the UTME due to the substantial non-compliance with its standards in the centres of the affected candidates.
The board directed affected candidates to print their supplementary Examination Notification Slips from Tuesday, 4th June, 2024, to ascertain their designated examination centres
In a statement he signed on Sunday, JAMB’s spokesman, Dr Fabian Benjamin, said the Board has also released additional 3,921 withheld results.
The statement reads in part: “The Board has painstakingly analysed the process and conduct of the 2024 UTME in some centres where there are strong proofs of substantial non-compliance with the Board’s standards.
”Consequently, 24,535 candidates have been rescheduled to retake the examination in their chosen Examination Towns on Saturday, June 22, 2024.
