Gunmen Demand ₦100m Ransom for Abducted Worshippers in Ondo

‎Gunmen who abducted four worshippers at a Celestial Church in Uso, Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State, on Tuesday have reportedly demanded ₦100 million for their release.

‎The kidnappers were said to have contacted the victims’ families Wednesday afternoon to communicate the ransom demand.

‎A family source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, confirmed that the abductors reached out and insisted on the payment before the victims would be freed.

‎The worshippers were reportedly taken when armed men invaded the church located along Owo-Akure highway during a midnight service. Five persons were reportedly kidnapped but one of them escaped.
