Governor Makinde Boosts Corps members Welfare, Donates 200 Mattresses to NYSC Orientation Camp
The Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde has donated 200 pieces of mattresses to the NYSC management to boost Corps members welfare at the orientation camp as well as ensure the smooth running of the 2023 Batch C stream two orientation exercise.
The Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Miss Wasilat Adegoke, while handing over the items to the State Coordinator of NYSC in Oyo state, reiterated the commitment of the Oyo State Government towards the welfare of Corps members serving in Oyo State.
Despite the fact that we have a lot of things competing for attention from the Government, His Excellency has special interest in NYSC programs and Corps members welfare” she said.
The State Coordinator NYSC Oyo, Mr. Odoba Abel Oche who has initially purchased 200 pieces of mattresses commended Governor Makinde for his unrelenting support and usual contributions to the activities of the National Youth Service Corps in Oyo State.
Odoba stressed that the management of NYSC Oyo State under his watch will continue to device every possible means to provide prompt and quality service delivery to Corps members.
