Germany has won the 2023 FIFA Under 17 world cup hosted by Indonesia.

In the final match played at Manahan Stadium, Germany defeated France 4 goals to 3 via penalties after the full time ended 2-2.

With this triumph, Germany became the first country to win the European cup and World Cup in the same year

Mali had on Friday walloped Argentina 3 nill to win the third place match.

Agustin Ruberto of Argentina won the Golden Booth having scored 8 goals.
