President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the formation of an Inter-Ministerial Committee to oversee the state funeral of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
According to a statement issued by the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF), the committee which is to be chaired by Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), will be responsible for planning and coordinating a befitting state burial for the late former president.

In tribute to the late former president, President Tinubu has directed all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) to open condolence registers at the entrance of their offices to allow the public to pay their respects.
Additionally, central condolence registers will be available at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja for the diplomatic community and the general public
