Eid al-Adha reminds us of the spirit of giving, selflessness, and unity. It is a time when families and friends come together to commemorate the profound act of faith that Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) demonstrated when he was willing to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God.
“This Eid, I encourage everyone to embrace the essence of sacrifice—not just as an act of giving up something materially, but also as a commitment to serve our communities and uplift those around us. It’s a great opportunity to reflect on what we can contribute to others’ lives, just as Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice was ultimately a testament to faith and devotion.

He added that at the heart of Eid-Al-Adha lies a remarkable story of faith, obedience, and love, reminding all that the celebration commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), known as Abraham in Christianity, to sacrifice his son in obedience to God’s command.
What led to Eid al-Adha started with a dream from a man who’s connected to 3 religions Prophet Ibrahim (AS) who’s know to the Christians as Abraham. The dream was a test of faith.
