Hon. Adetunji Teslim Adedayo, popularly known as Odayo, a leading figure in the “Oyo N Pe O” movement and a House of Assembly aspirant for the Ibadan North State Constituency 2, has extended warm greetings to Muslims in celebration of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.
Speaking to journalists shortly after observing the Eid prayers and the symbolic slaughtering of a ram at the Ansar-ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, Agbowo Branch, Ibadan, Odayo emphasized the importance of faith and unity during this sacred season.
As we mark this important festival, I encourage all Muslims to renew their trust in Almighty Allah. It is through unwavering faith in His sovereignty that we attract His blessings and mercy,” he said.
Odayo, who also serves as President of Agbowo Indigenes, is a prominent grassroots mobilizer. Although his movement, Oyo N Pe O, has not officially aligned with any political party, it is rapidly gaining traction as a platform for credible and effective representation in Ibadan North.
Reflecting on national politics, Odayo commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration for its achievements over the past two years. He urged Nigerians to be patient and continue supporting the “Renewed Hope” agenda.
President Tinubu is laying a solid foundation. Let us remain calm and supportive. I believe he knows what he’s doing, and in due time, Nigerians will begin to experience the positive impact of his leadership,” he said.
When asked about the principles that would guide him if elected, Odayo replied, “By the grace of God, I will be guided by the rules and teachings of Almighty Allah in all my legislative duties.”
As the 2027 election season draws closer, Odayo’s message resonates with many constituents who are yearning for responsible leadership and community-driven representation.
