Christian Journalists Organise Maiden Retreat In Ibadan

Christian journalists under the aegis of Nigerian Association of Christian Journalists, NACJ in Oyo State  will on Saturday, October 28, 2023 hold a retreat in Ibadan, the state capital.

The 1-day retreat themed: “The Role of Christian Journalists In Ensuring Peaceful National Co-Existence,” will take place at the Government House Chapel, Agodi-Gate, Ibadan.

According to a statement issued by the NACJ  Public Relations Officer, Adeola Badru, discussants at the retreat will include the Executive Director, Media Centre Development, Mr. ‘Lekan Otufodunrin; Deputy Director Programmes, Radio Nigeria, Ibadan Zonal Station, Reverend. Niyi Dahunsi; former National President, Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Mr. Lanre Ogundipe and Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Oyo State Chapter, Apostle Joshua Sola Akinyemiju, (JP).

The statement further noted that the Special Guest of Honour is Reverend Idowu Ogedengbe, the Executive Assistant to the Oyo State Governor.

“Others are the Guest Minister, Pastor Benjamin Akanmu, the immediate-past CAN Chairman, Oyo State Chapter and Regional Superintendent, Christ Apostolic Church, Ogunbanjo Regional Headquarters, Ondo State; Chaplain, Government House Chapel, Pastor Layi Adisa; Deputy Chaplain, Government House Chapel, Pastor Emmanuel Akanmu.
