The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the temporary suspension of its recruitment application portal as part of efforts to optimise its operational efficiency.
In a public announcement signed by the Secretary to the Board, Maj. Gen. AM Jibril (rtd), the CDCFIB stated that the portal (https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng), which is used for recruitment into its paramilitary agencies, will be unavailable until Monday, July 21, 2025.
The Board explained that the temporary suspension is aimed at ensuring the portal can better manage the high volume of applications and support a more transparent, fair, and smooth recruitment process.
“We appreciate the enthusiasm and interest of young Nigerians to serve their country through these vital agencies,” the statement read. “We remain committed to ensuring a fair and transparent recruitment process.”
The CDCFIB oversees recruitment into key paramilitary bodies, including the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, the Nigeria Correctional Service, the Federal Fire Service, and the Nigeria Immigration Service.
