Akeredolu Burial Rites Begin February 15
The burial rites for the final home journey of the late former governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, is to kick off on Thursday, February 15, 2024.
While we await the full details of the burial plan by the family in conjunction with the government, a source close to the family disclosed that the activities would start from Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State and end in his country home, Owo, Ondo State.
Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, was the governor of Ondo State until his demise in Germany during a protracted illness two weeks ago at the age of 67.
His remains arrived Nigeria over the weekend from Germany and was received by his family and top government officials
