Ondo State Governor Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has launched the Akure–Imafon Road project expressing commitment to infrastructure renewal and quality service delivery.
Speaking at the ceremony held at the Imafon/Igbatoro junction in Akure, the governor said the project addressed the long-standing demand of residents and fulfills one of his campaign promises.
He gave an assurance that his administration would not abandon any ongoing or inherited projects, including the Ijoka dual carriageway, where construction works would soon resume and appealed for patience and understanding .
In a remark , the Commissioner for Infrastructure, Lands and Housing, Mr. Ayorinde Olawoye, commended the Governor for prioritizing infrastructural development while the Olumafon of Imafon, Oba Aliu Adegbehingbe, described the road project as a symbol of hope and progress for the community
