Parents Express Displeasure Over Admission Delay in Ekiti Govt Schools

Sharing is caring!

Parents of students seeking admission into government secondary schools have expressed frustration over the delay in pasting the names of successful candidates for admission into Junior Secondary Schools in Ekiti.

The parents expressed their displeasure following the resumption of new Academic session in public and private primary and secondary schools in Ekiti State.

According to them, virtually all the public secondary schools in Ekiti State are yet to give admission to JSS 1 students who sat for placement examination.

Two of the parents, Mrs Ayoola Adeola and Mr Gideon Okoro said government ought to have done the placement before resumption, saying such was uncalled for.

Other parents whose children were promoted to new classes complained about the cost of books and other learning materials, saying they find it difficult to meet the needs of their children due to the economic hardship affecting the nation.

Prime news gathered that the students seeking admission into JSS 1 lost their excitement as their expectations were not meant.
