CLGC Raises Bar of Worship at 34th Anniversary

It was praise unlimited to God as members of Christ The Light Gospel Church, CLGC led by the General Overseer, Bishop Solomon Aremu, celebrated the 34th Anniversary of the church in grand style.

Members from all the branches of the church in Ibadan, Osun and the diaspora gathered at the multi million naira church auditorium located in Ologuneru area, Ibadan to offer undiluted praises to God for his faithfulness over the Church.

The anniversary themed ‘The Merciful God” had in attendance frontline clergymen in Ibadan, popular gospel musician, Evangelist ‘Funmi Aragbaye among other dignitaries who took turn to join their anointing with the congregation as they render songs of praises and hymns to extol the almighty God and the beauty of his kingdom.

In his ministration, Prophet M.A Fakinle who charged the congregation to live a life of praise to God, expressed optimism that God would sustain the church and perform more signs and wonders in the ministry.

Prophet Fakinle, admonished members of the church to heed the call of God and hearken to his voice in order to render more services to the kingdom.

In an interview, popular gospel musician, Evangelist Funmi Aragbaye called for total dedication and truthful worship to God.

While lamenting the current trend of events in the Christendom, evangelist Aragbaye urged believers to be watchful so as not to lose focus in their quest for righteous living and heavenly reign with Jesus Christ.

The seventy year old gospel singer, called for intense prayers for Nigeria so as to bring back its fortune, to engender more prosperous and virile nation.

Earlier in a special ministration, the General Overseer of CLGC, Bishop Solomon Aremu led the congregation to worship God for the victory granted the church which had enabled it to grow in leaps and bounds.

Bishop Aremu called for unity of faith in the church of God so as to enable it present quality worship to God and service to humanity.

A member of the church, Mr Lekan Falaye, in his testimony, said the ministry had been beneficial to him and his households.

“Ever since I have been worshipping in this church, my life has turned around for good.”
