BREAKING: Ondo Governor, Aiyedatiwa Picks Deputy
The Ondo state Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has nominated the former Deputy Clerk to the National Assembly, Chief Olayide Owolabi Adelami, as the deputy governor.
The nomination was made public barely six hours after the dissolution of the Ondo State Executive Council.
Adelami, a former governorship aspirant of the All Progressive Congress in 2020 hails from Owo area of the state, he retired from the National Assembly in April 2018.
The Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Ebenezer Adeniyan, confirmed the nomination of the deputy governor adding that the nomination has been forwarded to the state House of Assembly for ratification.
