It was a day of honour for Pelumi Nubi, a London to Lagos Lone driver, as the Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu doled her with the gift of brand new car and apartment.<\/p>\n

At a meeting with the governor at the government house in Alausa, Ikeja, Mr. Sanwo-olu also appointed the 28-year-old travel content creator, as the state tourism ambassador.<\/p>\n

The Governor also offered to cover the cost of the travel, while gifting her a new apartment and a car.<\/p>\n

Nubi, who completed her solo road trip from London, United Kingdom, to Lagos, Nigeria on Sunday was received at the Nigeria-Benin Republic border on behalf of Lagos State Government by the state Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mrs Toke Benson-Awoyinka, and the Special Adviser, Tourism, Arts and Culture, Idris Aregbe.<\/p>\n
