Tinubu Confers National Honour, MON on Super Eagles
The 25-man Super Eagles squad who paticipated at the just concluded AFCON 2023 tournament held in Ivory Coast has joined the ranks of notable Nigerians who have received the prestigious national honours.
The Super Eagles team players were awarded the Member of the Order of the Niger(MON) by the president , Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for their impressive performance at the AFCON 2023 tournament.
The president also announced gifts of one flat each and a plot of land in the FCT
Nigeria came in second place, losing the trophy to the hosts Ivory Cote d’Ivoire who clinched victory at the finals last Sunday.
